STOCKPORT PRIDE RETURNS TO CELEBRATE EQUALITY, DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION 

Stockport Pride 2024 is set to light up the town on Sunday, 2nd June, from 11am to 7pm - celebrating equality, diversity and inclusion within the local LGBTQ+ community. This vibrant event promises a day packed with colour, music and unity - inviting everyone to join in the festivities.

There will be a spectacular parade, starting from the Underbanks at noon. Expect to see a sea of rainbow flags and smiling faces as the parade weaves its way through the town centre. The event will feature a variety of stalls in Stockport's Historic Market Place - hosted by charities, community groups and food and drink vendors, ensuring there's something for everyone.

Entertainment will be non-stop on the Martyn Hett Stage, compered by the fabulous Vegan Queens. They'll be bringing their northern charm mixed with a hint of Coronation Street, a dash of Emmerdale and a whole lot of love to share.

Stockport County Foundation are running County Pride football sessions for LGBTQ+ people, it’s a casual weekly kickabout with the aim to form a team when there are more attendees.
