We heard from John Mcgrath, artistic director and CEO, and Nihal Arthanayake, from the Board of Trustees, who each gave their vision for the future and reminded us of how from small beginnings Manchester is now a major presence on the world stage where artists really want to come to the city, and Factory International’s productions are exported globally. There was also a ringing endorsement from Richard Brown from Arts Council England.
These are the main events (click the link below for further details):
It’s a Sin (16th – 27th February) World Premiere
Come as you Really Are (13th – 20th February) New Commission
An Ark (27th March – 10th April) European Premiere
Einstein on the Beach (29th May – 12th June) World Premiere
Deadlift (5th & 6th June) UK Premiere

And last, but by no means least there is Manchester International Festival (1st – 18th July). Details to be announced in due course, but plans are far advanced. There will also be other productions yet to be determined.
There really is something for everyone and Factory International is certainly living up to its mission statement of “Invent Tomorrow Together”.
