Technical Information for Submitting Your Content to Canal-st.co.uk
Canal-st.co.uk welcomes your stories, images, and other media. To ensure your content looks its best on our website and mobile app, please follow these guidelines:
Image Requirements
- All Images Must Be Landscape Orientation: We now only accept images in landscape (horizontal) format. This includes lead story images, regular story images, and images for the mobile app.
- Image Sizes:
- Lead Stories: 620px wide x 260px high (panoramic style)
- Regular Stories: 250px wide x 300px high (maximum)
- Mobile App/Competition Images: 212px wide x 156px high
- Resolution: 72 dpi
- Formats: JPG, TIFF, BMP, or PDF (in RGB color space)
- High-Resolution Originals: Please submit original high-resolution images whenever possible, as this allows us to select the best content and framing.
- Multiple Sizes: When submitting images for stories or competitions, please provide one image in each of the required sizes (e.g., one “regular” and one “mobile” size).
