Gay nightlife can often feel exclusive and image-conscious, but Manbears has been breaking the mould since 1995.
Throughout the year, the group brings the community together across Manchester’s Gay Village for accessible, friendly socials. Anyone is welcome, whether arriving solo or with friends, and no pretension is required.
This November, the celebrations expand into the full Orange Weekend, an inclusive three-day takeover uniting the community through music, partner venues, and local trade.
The weekend runs from Friday 13 to Sunday 15 November 2026. Securing a full weekend wristband unlocks entry across multiple venues, exclusive party access, local discounts, and automatic entry into a prize draw to win two standard weekend wristbands for the Great British Bear Bash 2027.
Schedule for Friday 13 to Sunday 15 November 2026: Friday: Karaoke with Athena at District Bar, followed by Sex, Hugs & Sausage Rolls rock night at The Eagle Saturday:
