TWISTED DRAG EVENTS LAUNCHES AN AFTERNOON PRIDE CABARET SHOW ON 30 AUGUST AT VENUE BENEATH MANCHESTER’S ICONIC RAILWAY ARCHES
Twisted Drag Events are taking over the runway at Tangerine as they fill the space with electric drag performances, pride bops, games and a raffle on 30 August 2026 from 1pm. Host, Crysis, will be joined by UK icon, Duniya Dhoom, showgirl and drag queen, Ivy Groove, and creator of Glitterfye, Glitter King. We’re bringing the energy and excitement of Manchester Village Pride in a spacious, accessible venue.
Nestled beneath Manchester’s iconic railway arches, Tangerine is a multipurpose venue, straddling Salford and Manchester. Situated opposite Salford Central rail station, it’s accessible via train, bus and car. Serving delicious food and a wide selection of drinks, there’s guaranteed to be something to suit everyone. If you show your Canal Street Card, you’ll get 15% off cocktails and wine at the event.
Milo’s Bagels have kindly supplied a £50 voucher for our raffle. All proceeds from the raffle will go directly to the George House Trust who are provides support, advice and information for people living with HIV. We also have game prizes including t-shirts and tickets to the Glitterfye: Fangtasia show taking place from 7pm on 23 October 2026 at the New Union Hotel on Canal Street.
‘I’m incredibly excited to host our Pride Cabaret at Tangerine over the Manchester Village Pride weekend,’ Twisted Drag Events Founder, Chris Moore, says. ‘Pride celebrations can sometimes be a sensory overload for some people in the community so I wanted to create an affordable event where drag artists can be paid fairly and guests can take away an unforgettable experience filled with joy and laughter. We’re also hosting a free social event beforehand at 11.30am so people in the community can connect and make new friends.’
