After two sell-out nights during Sparkle Weekend that had Canal Street buzzing, Honey’s Bar returns for one night only… and this time, it’s Pride weekend. Bigger, later, and more golden than ever, Honey’s is back at 1 Canal Street on Friday 28th August, from 6pm until 3am.
Born from a simple but powerful idea — that Canal Street deserved an inclusive, everyone-is-welcome bar with trans people truly at its centre — Honey’s made its debut during Sparkle Weekend to an overwhelmingly positive response from the community. Trans-owned and community-built, it quickly became clear that our first two nights were never going to be enough. Honey’s Bar is trans-owned, trans-led, and built with love by Louise Honey, a local transwoman and community champion. Louise always felt the Village needed something sweeter.
Expect cocktails, colour, and a dancefloor full of people who came to celebrate with community, confidence, and cocktails. Honey’s Bar sits at 1 Canal Street, in the heart of Manchester’s iconic Gay Village, in the Events by Velvet space.
Honey’s Bar will be announcing a stellar line-up of DJ’s to get the dancefloor -and you!- spinning in the next few days.
Whether you’re in Manchester for Pride weekend or you’re in need of a truly unforgettable experience, this is your night. This is your bar.
