Enuff is Enuff started its 3-night run at the Peer Hat in Manchester’s Northern Quarter on July 5th, starring Clementine Bogg-Hargroves as recently unqualified life coach Shaun Guff, who dispenses thoughts on life in a seminar following a break-up.

It’s a from the heart and amusing monologue with a nice bit of audience participation thrown in. Without spoiling things, the central theme was that people don’t always do or say the wrong thing on purpose, but that doesn’t make life any easier.

It’s a punchy delivery that uses technology (PowerPoint) to drive the messages home, and Shaun is an engaging tutor. The 40 minutes was over in no time.

Talking to Clementine afterwards, she described the show as a work in progress, but I’d say it’s just about there already.

She’s taking it to Edinburgh where it should be well received.
