Olive’s Kitchen is set inside the fusiliers museum in Bury, just slightly away from the hustle and bustle of Bury market and opposite Bury Art Gallery and is well worth the short walk to experience this calm, relaxing, spacious, clean , and well managed cafe, serving excellent food at reasonable prices.
Myself and a friend called here for a bite to eat on a Saturday morning and it was surprisingly quietwhen we arrived, but that was to our advantage.
This hidden gem is always popular as they continue to turn out such food, which is wonderfully presented by polite attentive staff.
I chose their big breakfast, and my partner had a ham sandwich. Both agreed that the food was spot on, in particular my poached eggs which were cooked to perfection, so top marks there.
You will be happy to learn that the venue ‘busied up’ and was pretty full by the time we left.

Set menus are also available.

Olive’s Kitchen is also LGBTQ owned/operated and has a strong commitment to diversity and fairness.
Give Olive’s a try, you won’t be disappointed – we certainly weren’t!
PS. The cafe is open to the general public without having to visit the museum. However, you can visit the museum should you wish.
