Well Done, Rik Barnett and Northern Rep Theatre - BOSIE GM Fringe Winner.

Manchester has loads of great Fringe theatre shows, but some really stand out. This year, one show, in particular has got everyone talking. We are really pleased to say well done to Rik Barnett and Northern Rep Theatre for winning the Best LGBTQ+ Production Award at the GM Fringe Awards 2023.

"Bosie": A Top Show

Rik Barnett put on a show called "Bosie" at The Fitzgerald during the Manchester Fringe. It's all about Bosie and the famous writer, Oscar Wilde. It's a fresh look at a story many of us know, and it's been done really well.

Big Cheers for Rik

Rik's acting in "Bosie" was spot on. He really brought the character to life, and everyone loved it. The Fitzgerald was the perfect place for it, making everything feel just right.

A Big Win

Best LGBTQ+ Production Award sponsored by Queer Lit is a big deal, and "Bosie" really deserves it. The show reminds us of how important it is to be kind and understanding to everyone, no matter who they are.

With this big win, we can't wait to see what Rik Barnett and Northern Rep Theatre do next. Manchester's theatre fans are all ears!
