Tyron Webster’s latest release

Tyron Webster’s latest release

Northern singer and lyricist Tyron Webster’s latest release reveals a sorry affair of admitting defeat, longing, letting go and shows great vulnerability.

Displaying his emotions openly, Control shows off Tyron’s vocal and writing skills at their finest and, as always, it’s his own personal story that was the inspiration behind his new release. “Control is a song that I wrote when I just really had enough of being treated like someone's toy”, Tyron explains, “Control was about a situationship I was in that I really really wanted to work and I just kept lying to myself and ignoring friends' alerts and the guy knew he had this control and hold over me.”

Starting quite intimate and laid back, the verses build into a freeing chorus of a hook that is simply repeated to reiterate the point that you're bringing across with a melody that you just want to sing and shout to whoever made you feel like this. Tyron continues, “I wanted the song to take you on a journey, quite like the situation I wrote it about, there's different parts and feels within the production that the producer, Chris Durkin, captured really well.”

It’s no surprise that Tyron’s live audiences quickly pick up the lyrics and are singing them right back at him, becoming swept up in the all too relatable emotions. “These lyrics are some of my favourite ones I've written; they're so raw and true and I believe people will really grasp on that .”

Control is Tyron’s Third release and it really is a testament to who he is and what to expect from him in the future, always showing vulnerability around situations we all find ourselves in.
