The Bleeding Obvious

The Bleeding Obvious

Jessica Rowbottom brings her Can’t Dance Don’t Care Tour to Canal Street.

One-woman cabaret THE BLEEDING OBVIOUS (aka Yorkshire lesbian Jessica Rowbottom) endeavours to describe the experience with original songs and tales which are sometimes funny, occasionally poignant, frequently emotional, usually queer - and it’s probably the only show with the lyrics "demisexual panromantic polyamorous androgyne”!

She's performed to a packed off-West End theatre at Pride In London and a sold-out show at Cadogan Hall London with The Pink Singers, not to mention shows at London LGBT+ Pride Picnic, L Fest Lesbian Festival, Trans Pride Brighton, Sheffield Diversity Festival, Norwich Arts Centre, plus more Prides and LGBTQ+ cabaret venues than you can shake a sequined stick at. Her performances have drawn comparisons with Victoria Wood, Tim Minchin, The Divine Comedy and Fascinating Aïda.

With new music and stories for her 2022 tour, let The Bleeding Obvious take you on a rollercoaster rainbow ride…

"An LGBT+ driven musical trinket box" - Get In Her Ears

"The queer Victoria Wood" - Yorkshire Evening Post

“Controversial, with a bit of fun added in” - Trans Radio UK

“An exploration into musical and lyrical diversity” - The Queerness
