New Festival Foodie Hub At Manchester New Square
This August Bank Holiday, Manchester New Square is transforming into Manchester Food Square, hosting a fantastic line-up of amazing street food stalls over the 4-day weekend.
With its canal-side location, Manchester New Square is a brand new residential community with luxury, two and three bedroom apartments available to buy, and ready to move in to now. With Manchester New Square’s enviable position alongside
Canal Street, developers Urban & Civic thought it would be the perfect spot to soak up the PRIDE Festival vibes and this year the square will be filled with food and drink, for all.
Resident foodie pop-up, Garni will be joined by the Cubanitos food truck, who specialise in a fusion of Cuban and Miami style food, like slow-roasted mojo pork shoulder or Ropa Viejo Beef stew.
Vegan favourite, Desert Island Dumplings, and the awesome Spice & Grind will also pop-up throughout the weekend.
Opening from 12pm each day, it’s free entry and walk-ins only so no need to make a reservation. More importantly PRIDE wristband holders get discounts across all of the food stalls.
“With its close proximity to Canal Street we’re keen to support the community and get involved in events taking place throughout the year, like the PRIDE festival this bank holiday weekend.” Says Phillip Leech, Property Director at Urban & Civic, “The
public realm at Manchester New Square is a great spot, looking out onto the canal and we hope to see more activity happening in the space as it becomes part of this vibrant neighbourhood.”
The weekends’ festivities are just the beginning of regular pop-ups at Manchester New Square. Stay tuned by visiting the website www.manchesternewsquare.com or following on social media @mcrnewsq You can access Manchester New Square via Princess Street or Whitworth Street,
