Nell's New York Pizza and Bar

Nell’s New York Pizza & Bar at Kampus - home of the famous 22” ‘zas and slices - are the latest bar to join the Canal Street VIP Card, meaning even more bang for your buck when you visit.

Launched at the start of November, Nell’s is located within the Kampus development. Originally beginning as a pop-up at Common in the Northern Quarter during 2020, it has since become a staple of the city, with an outpost at The Beagle in Chorlton, too.

Serving thin, crispy pizza by the slice, plus also in 14” and 22” formats, best selling dishes include an homage to the iconic New York slice with Original Cheese, the pepperoni and chilli honey centred Do You ‘Roney, Honey?, and the plant-friendly Vegan Deluxe.

Now, as well as being able to enjoy their renowned pizza pies, Canal Street VIP Card members are entitled to all-day happy hour, every day of the week.

From today, any card holder will be entitled to get a £4 pint of Nell’s Lager, Nell’s Pale, a £5 Espresso Martini, Tommy’s Margarita, Daiquiri, Aperol Spritz, or Clover Fizz, as well as £15 bottles of house wine and £20 bottles of Prosecco whenever they want - no booking required. To redeem, simply show your card at the bar, and their staff will do the rest. There’s no limits, so feel free to go wild.

If it is festival fare that you’re after, Nell’s have also just announced their Christmas menu. Running from 29th November through to December 31st, they’ll be serving up three yuletide specials: MISTLETOE & SWINE, a pigs in blankets inspired pizza full of festive indulgence; P*GS AND BLANKETS, mistletoe’s vegetarian cousin, featuring This Isn’t Bacon and Beyond Sausage; and finally, the completely vegan BY THE BAUBLES – it looks like a Christmas tree, and tastes like the best Boxing Day leftover sandwich you’ve ever had. They’ll also have mulled wine & hot toddies serving throughout the month, too.

Nell’s are now also accepting festive bookings at £25 per head - perfect for a last-minute company party lunch, or meeting up with friends for the first time in a while for your annual Xmas blow-out. You’ll receive prosecco on arrival, starters for the table, a festive pizza special each (or anything else from the menu), and a full selection of dips - or for an extra £5 you can add on an Ice Cream Sandwich for dessert.
