Manchester's Bursting with Blooms: The Flower Festival Returns This May

Manchester's Bursting with Blooms: The Flower Festival Returns This May

If you love flowers, creativity, and exploring the city, then get excited! The Manchester Flower Festival returns this May Bank Holiday weekend (Friday 24th–Monday 27th), transforming the city centre into a vibrant floral wonderland. After a successful debut last year, this popular festival is the perfect way to shake off the winter blues and welcome the warmer weather.

This year's theme, "Manchester Icons," celebrates the city's rich history and culture with incredible floral installations. Imagine paying tribute to beloved figures like Caroline Aherne, the pop sensation Girls Aloud, and the inspiring Emmeline Pankhurst. You'll find nods to Manchester's legendary music scene and iconic landmarks woven throughout the displays.

The highlight is the Floral Trail. Meander through the city centre and discover breathtaking floral surprises at every turn. Along the way, you might stumble upon live music, arts and crafts markets, and family-friendly activities. And if you're feeling inspired, keep an eye out for creative floral workshops.
