September 2023
Hosted by Queen Bayard and featuring Queer Latifah featuring DJ Duckdown, Jimmy Turnbull and Nigel Harrison
Chorlton's first ever Pride will take place on 16 September 2023 - A community-led event that celebrates and brings together LGBTQ+ people in Chorlton and beyond, including all members of the community to promote the visibility of LGBTQ+ people in Chorlton.
The main event will be held from 12pm-5pm at St Clements Church in Chorlton with special events taking place across Chorlton throughout the day and into the evening. It's going to be a family friendly free event with a mixture of food, drink, charities, local services and some great entertainment too. It's going to be fab-u-lous!
Many local businesses are involved and we're also excited to be working them.
As we get closer to the big day, we will begin to share with you details of the main event, including performances and family friendly events.
With Claire Mooney, Bhangracise and Manchester's Proud Chorus.
Manchester Frontrunners are kicking off the Chorlton Pride celebrations, by running into Chorlton on 17th September finishing their run at the Horse & Jockey at 11:30am. Just in time for the main event!
