At Sparkle they want to bring together our gender variant community, to bring together joy, hope and celebration for the second weekend in July.

We aren’t just a community celebration, we are a family.

Our event is aimed at everyone who identifies as trans, non-binary and gender variant, their friends, family and allies. So whether you are 6 and attending with a parent, a group of friends here to party the weekend away or 56 and coming out for the first time, we embrace you and we would love you to join us.

Fri 7th– Sun 9th July

What’s on in the Sparkle Weekend:

We have expanded our alcohol free zone to include more accessible and family friendly elements this year after our feedback in 2022.

The park is also from 11am as the tranquillity and neurodiverse period – allowing nearly two hours of relaxing vibes and to experience intimate wellbeing workshops and talks, and opportunities for the children to play!

Main Stage - join us for 2 days of fantastic live music entertainment, local bands and singers, international artists and comedy . Offering something for everyone from a sing along to a dance arena in the event, offering a true nightlife experience. Fantastic performances from Jasmine Gardosi Birminghams poet laureate, Nate Ethan, Local Favourite Husk, the amazing Lucky Roy Singh and the House of Spice, plus Trans Radio UK DJ’s taking us through the night. Many more artists to be announced so stay tuned!

*Follow us on social media and be the first to hear the line ups, dropping next week*

BOOKING YOUR TICKETS:

Although tickets are not compulsory and we can allow admittance over the weekend, we’re asking those who can to please book a Sparkle Weekend ticket in advance.

It remains a free to attend event, but ticketing helps us produce metrics for future funding bids to secure the long-term success of the Sparkle Weekend.

We’ve also introduced Donation Tickets for those who can support us following the impacts of the pandemic and economic challenges. We’re committed to keeping the Sparkle Weekend free and accessible to everyone, and we need help from the community to help keep it going ????

Accessibility Tickets and Child Tickets are available.

Separate tickets are needed for the Friday night comedy in Sackville Gardens as the content is for 18+ audiences only.
