Alcohol free bar, Love From, announces upcoming festive collabs with General Stores and Feel Good Club

November 2023

Earlier this year, Manchester’s first ever alcohol-free bar, Love From, found a way to brighten up a usually dark and dreary October.

As soon as Love From opened their doors for a two week pop-up at Kampus, it was a huge success among Manchester’s residents.

So it’s of no surprise that two more pop ups are coming our way. First up there’s a collaboration with General Stores’ Kampus site throughout December, serving a range of non-alcoholic festive drinks, as well as a one-night only party at Feel Good Club. The event, Christmas AF!, will take place on Saturday 16th December.

Whilst it is of course a safe haven for the sober and sober-curious communities, Love From has also proved to be an incredibly fun night out spot for people from all walks of life.

Alcohol-free partying, even just for a night, is clearly on the rise - with more and more people showing an interest in having a good time without the hangover. At Love From, they can do that without having to compromise on drink quality or a buzzing environment.

Founder, Karl Considine, said “I’ve been so overwhelmed by the response and really surprised at how many people are so supportive of a booze free bar! Now that our pop-up has ended, there is a sober shaped hole in Manchester’s scene. But have no fear - Love From has a few things in the pipeline to keep you going until we return to Kampus for a 3 month residency between January and March 2024!”

Love From are thrilled to announce a month-long residency this December with General Stores. Kicking off on Friday 1st December at the brand new General Store at Kampus, Love From will be serving up a delicious range of drinks, including some festive specials and non-alcoholic mulled wine.

Of the collaboration, founder of General Stores, Mital said “Our values include Community & Collaboration so how better to honour that than by hosting our first event supporting Love From? We’re working together this December on a Christmas pop-up, on our brand new First Floor at Kampus General Store, where people can come and enjoy a lovely drink in a unique environment.”

The pop-up with General Stores will be open Wednesday to Sunday from 1pm to 10pm and is located on Chorlton Street.

But the good news doesn’t stop there. Love From are also to partner with Feel Good Club on Saturday 16th December on a massive festive party - Christmas AF!

The evening will include everything you’d usually see at a Christmas do, just no booze.

Expect more festive non-alcoholic drinks, Christmas bops, Christmas jumpers, best dressed prizes and more.

Founder Karl added, “Christmas is a really boozy time of year - and although we don’t want to question people letting their hair down and having fun, what we do want to do is provide an option for those not drinking this Christmas or even a little break in the drinking schedule for those that are.”
