Sinderella at The Dancehouse

Sinderella at The Dancehouse

This naughty little tale of Sinderella getting her man will have you in fits of laughter. Adult Panto Tour has arrived and this high energy, relentless pantomime is exactly what is needed on a cold January night.

From start to finish this show is utterly hilarious. The leads bring something magical to this production. Divina De Campo is a versatile goddess of wickedness in the form of the wicked stepmother, the very ugly stepsisters are firing on all cylinders, Cinderella carries an innocent charm and impressive vocal range whilst the world goes mad around her. Buttons (Rob King) is utterly brilliant, highly engaging and gets the audience going from the very first scene.

There are some surprises along the way that only an adult pantomime involving stars of RuPauls Drag Race can get away with. Of course, it is a panto so don’t be surprised audience if there is a little bit of audience participation.

The only criticism I would have is that some members of the cast need to pick up the energy to keep up with the powerhouses that take this production to such high levels of hilarity.

That said, a full house thoroughly enjoyed this romp, with last performances already SOLD OUT.

Congratulations to Joe Purdy for producing the show.
