The theme of the festival this year is ‘arrivals’, highlighting the history of many Irish journeying through, and those who chose to stay, through Liverpool.
Queer Arrivals is a music-filled, personal journey by Irish singer-songwriter Gráinne Hunt, tracing her late-in-life queer awakening. With original songs and storytelling, and joined by her partner Jules Stewart, Gráinne explores love, identity, and belonging in this powerful debut at the Liverpool Irish Festival.
Husk will be bringing bilingual electrofolk, blending Irish traditional music with electronica & folk, peppered with the Irish language including 2 yet-to-be released tracks, with fiddle player Aninka.
This will be followed by a Q&A at the end of the show.
