MANCHESTER, Music for the Senses auction, organised in aid of the Grassroots Music Fund, will now be held entirely online this Friday, 12 September, from 7 pm. This event aims to raise vital funds for emerging artists and the wider music community right here in Greater Manchester.
The Grassroots Music Fund, managed by Forever Manchester, is a crucial initiative that provides financial assistance to grassroots artists, helping them cover touring costs such as travel and food. By supporting these talented musicians, the fund also benefits the entire creative ecosystem—think sound technicians, videographers, and venues—making sure our local music scene is vibrant and sustainable for years to come. This kind of support is absolutely essential for emerging artists who often face significant financial challenges as they pursue their careers.
