The Sunday Boys are thrilled to bring back their much loved annual event, A Very Queer Christmas, where choral singing, rich storytelling, and festive reflection come together in a celebration of the season.
Former Corrie star Julie Hesmondhalgh to join LGBTQ+ choir for Christmas concert at Manchester Cathedral
Julie, best known to soap fans for playing Weatherfield’s Hayley Cropper, will join The Sunday Boys for ‘A Very Queer Christmas’, an annual concert at Manchester Cathedral, which celebrates the festive season through music and storytelling.
Alongside performances of Christmas classics including In the Bleak Midwinter, Solstice Carol, and White Christmas, Julie will perform texts written by writer and artist, Mark Croasdale.
Now a much-anticipated tradition in the queer holiday calendar, this special concert invites you to explore and enjoy the festive period.
This concert sees exciting arrangements such as In the Bleak Midwinter, The Rose, Wonders in the Sky, Solstice Carol, and White Christmas, alongside hits from the likes of Kate Bush.
The Sunday Boys are staunch supporters of our lgbtq community and lgbtq rights and return to Manchester Cathedral this December.
