Brand new menu at Tariff and Dale

Tariff & Dale have been a long term partner of the Canal St Card, but it doesn’t hurt to revisit – especially when they have a brand new menu.

Since 2015, it has cemented itself as a venue that suits a number of roles. One of those places that is great for after work catch ups, working lunches with a laptop, but just as good for a weekend party vibe.

Known for their cocktails, wood fired pizza, weekend music, and of course sausage rolls, their new menu features a range or warmers for the cooler weather, along with fresh veggie laden options and tempting sweet treats.

To share between us we selected some smaller plates and larger dishes to get the most out of the options on the menu. From the smaller plates, the falafel offered buttery rich hummus and nutty well spiced falafels, the doughballs (also good for dunking in the hummus) are fluffy, light and garlicky, whilst the tiger prawns are gently charred and sweet.

Onto mains, and one of us dove into a salad – delighted to note that you could add halloumi, chicken or mackerel to really make a meal of it, and then despite the pizza offering being excellent, we all dove into meaty dishes, including the biggest of them all, the Mountain Burger. An absolute feast of beef, chicken, pork and mushroom on a ciabatta, you’d best bring your appetite for this one!

Of course, with so much to choose from, we indulged too much for dessert, but plans were made for a revisit for a brew and something sweet. That coffee pannacotta sounds too good to resist.

Overall, fabulous service, great atmosphere, and food to suit – whether you want a little nibble, or something much more substantial. No wonder we love it.

What's the card deal? A full 20% off every visit. Another great reason to visit soon.
