Salford Ladies storm Pride

Pride 2011 saw the return of the Salford Ladies United Temperance Society (S.L.U.T.S). They marched in the parade battling rioters and looters with their placards and brooms. Some of the placards where protesting about the recent distrubances including "They should be jolly well hung!"

Sunday saw their fundrasing event, held at Taurus, where the crowd was greeted to the site of the S.L.U.T.S arriving in the midst highly succesful pride event. They encouraged the crowd to join in dancing and singing while selling noisy clappers and running a tombola to raise funds for George House Trust and Body Positive North West.

This year they raised over £2000 for these charities, with a big thank you to Regents Solicitors for their kind donation.
