Manchester Pride Parade

A carnival atmosphere will fill the streets of Manchester and is set to enthrall the thousands of spectators - young and old, gay and straight, friends and family - who come down to see the glamorous and the outrageously fabulous people who take part!

This year the parade starts at 13:00 on Saturday 24 August

Please note - you do not need Big Weekend tickets or wristbands to watch the parade, however, you will need them to get into the Big Weekend site in and around Canal Street afterwards!

Acceptable in the 80's?

Recognising the impact the decade had on LGBT and HIV activism, with the introduction of Section 28 and also a decade of iconic music, television and film (and horrific fashion), giving plenty of scope for fun, colourful entries.
