YOUR MCR Undergoes a Brand Refresh

Renaming as Your Manchester and unveiling a new logo and tagline.

Today Your Manchester has unveiled its new brand identity, logo and tagline. The new branding represents the growth of the company over the past two years.

Originally the media outlet focused on covering the entertainment, culture and heritage stories from across Manchester. It has since grown to become a platform for everything the city has to offer and the eclectic voices which reside within it.

The new tagline ‘For the people and about the people’ signifies that Your Manchester is committed to offering a platform to showcase, celebrate and debate the stories and issues that inspire and impact on those who live and work within the city. It will still offer viewers the exclusive interviews it is has become known for, the likes of Jake Shears and Jane McDonald,  but it will also focus on regional stories, such as Little Lockdown Bakery, and debate issues that impact on the people.

Belinda Scandal, founder of Your Manchester, said ‘We are proud to announce the launch of the new logo and tagline as part of the ongoing evolution of the company’s brand.

The business has grown and evolved over the years, and we felt it was time for a change. We have refreshed our logo to reflect who we are today and to symbolise our future ambitions to be the first place you go for news and discussions about the city.’

The new branding will be rolled out from October 2020.

Hosted by Belinda Scandal and Michelle Eagleton Your Manchester broadcasts live across the Your Manchester YouTube and Facebook and the Canal St YouTube and Facebook at 20:00 every Wednesday.  ‘Shel and Bel’s Best Bits’ from the weekly episode is released as a podcast every Friday and is available on iTunes, Spotify and Google Podcasts.
