‘Your Manchester’ – the successful online magazine show is 3 years old and to celebrate are holding a special night under a big top as part of the Hope Mill Festival. The programme was launched in 2018 and is broadcast to the 2.7 million people of Manchester and beyond!

The show, which takes place on Tuesday 20th July 2021 will feature actress Denise Welch in conversation, a musical performance from Sue Devaney (currently starring in Coronation Street), Drag Queen Divina De Campo, Tik Tok star Mark Bittlestone (PoofsRUS), Hollyoaks actress Annie Wallace, and star of BBC Talent Show “Let It Shine” Kyle Passmore.  Former Mayor of Manchester (now LGBT Advisor to GM Mayor Andy Burnham) Carl Austin Behan will also join the team on stage for the celebratory show.

The show is set to be one of the first in Manchester to be staged without Covid restrictions (which are due to end the day before). It will also feature the rest of the “Your Manchester Team”, Belinda Scandal, Brandon McCaffrey, Carol Ann Whitehead, Hayley Cartwright, Mark Llewellyn & Paul Rudd.

This special show forms part of “Hope Fest”- a programme of arts & cultural events from the heart of Ancoats & it taking place at a specially built site near New Islington Tram Stop. There will also be a licenced bar and barbeque on site. Tickets are available from the Hope Mill Theatre website.

The regular weekly show ‘Your Manchester’ is presented live each week from studios just off Oxford Road and works closely in conjunction with Canal Street Online.

Last year the team launched an audio podcast to compliment the show. This podcast is now in its second series.

Belinda Scandal, founder and host of Your Manchester, said “The growth of Your Manchester over the past 3 years has been amazing. It is an honour to be able to build on our commitment to the people of Greater Manchester and offer them the opportunity to tell their story to a large audience during a difficult year. I hope we’ve entertained and brought some joy into the homes of our viewers, providing a friendly face and a bit of escapism from the pandemic.

I’m extremely excited for our special show at Hope Mill and for what the next twelve months brings for us. We’ve got some incredible guests lined-up for our studio shows and our podcasts. I can’t wait to uncover the stories that are yet to be written and the discover all about the people we are yet to meet.”

‘Your Manchester’ broadcasts live across the ‘Your Manchester’ and the ‘Canal St’ Social Media Channels at 20:00 every Wednesday.  The ‘Your Manchester’ audiopodcast is released every weekend and is available on iTunes, Spotify, Google Podcasts & Amazon Music.
