Tan France live at The Dancehouse Manchester
TAN FRANCE, STAR OF THE EMMY AWARD WINNING NETFLIX SHOW QUEER EYE LAUNCHES HIS MEMOIR IN MANCHESTER WITH FIRST EVER UK APPEARANCE
Important notice: The show has been rescheduled to Friday 21 June due to Tan's filming commitments.
In his first ever UK public appearance, Penguin Live presents Tan France at The Dancehouse, Manchester, for an exclusive evening of discussion to celebrate the publication of his memoir Naturally Tan.
Tan will be in-conversation about his memoir Naturally Tan, discussing what it was like to grow up gay in a traditional South Asian family, as one of the few people of colour in South Yorkshire. The audience will hear about how he found his voice, and his style, his coming of age, and his coming out, and happily marrying the love of his life - a Mormon cowboy from Salt Lake City.
This is a rare opportunity to hear directly from Tan, and experience his trademark wit, humour, and radical compassion. Tan will be signing books after the event.
The book is a collection of humorous and poignant personal essays, peppered with style advice, funny lists, and the truisms that Tan has accumulated in his journey from South Yorkshire to Netflix.
Tan France says:
“Get to know me like never before, on the UK tour I’ve been excited about since I started writing my book, Naturally Tan. It’s going to be a wicked ride that I want you to join me on.”
Following the first show in Manchester, the Naturally Tan tour will then continue on to Birmingham and London. The tour is produced by Penguin Live.
