Performer Oskar Marchock talks to musician Deanz
A discussion of queer culture in dancehall music with Oskar and Deanz, plus an online exhibition from House of Ghetto
Creating music was one of Deanz’s hidden talents for many years. He has remixed and rewritten songs by a range of artists from Frank Sinatra to R Kelly. In the dancehall scene, he has worked to create music with an LGBT flavour to it.
Performer Oskar Marchock (from Vogue Ball regulars House of Noir) talks to musician Deanz about his journey into dancehall music culture and queering up the scene. They’ll also explore the issues raised in the Gully Queens digital exhibition.
Curated by Darren Pritchard.
