Once Upon A Poem: LGBT poems

Once Upon A Poem: LGBT poems

Carol Sapiano is a thirty-seven years old Lesbian from Manchester.

At just shy of fifteen, she discovered that she had a passion for poetry. Realising that she was attracted to women, she wrote her coming out poem which she entitled, ‘Juliet and Juliet’.

Her love for poetry and writing grew. She wanted to let her words and emotions dance on paper.

This year, she finally collated her work into a self-published Amazon collection, ‘Once upon a Poem, a Heart Laid Bare’.

Carol has found that her writing helps her to navigate her way through the ups and downs of life. Her poetry is of an adult nature. She writes about desire, passion, sex, love, loss and the emotions of being an out and proud Gay woman in a modern society.

The book is now available via the link below.
