Oldham Pride 2019

The day starts with Pride Breakfast at The George Tavern pub between 930am and 11am.  The rainbow parade meets at the Tommyfield Pub ready to leave at 12.15pm and proceed through town to Parliament Square.

After the official opening ceremony we will have an afternoon of entertainment hosted by KY Kelly and BGT star Kevin Cruse.  Acts will include Gay Gordon’s, Sam Smith Tribute, X Factors Sammi Brooke’s, Viva la Diva and the Bar Pop Show Team and BGT stars Bosom Buddies.  There will also be a Youth Zone, Market Village and a first for us - our Allies Pledge Wall where we are encouraging everyone to sign our wall as an ally for LGBTQ+ rights.

In the evening the focus moves to George Square for the Party in the Square from 6pm.  Hosted by Drag Queens KY Kelly and Bonna Petite and music provided by village DJ Martin TurnerEntertainment will include X Factors Lloyd Daniels and supporter of prides all over the UK - the fantastic Kelly Wilde alongside local artists Jordan Smart, Gareth Holt, Kelli Stephans, Hayley Jane, Take that Tribute from Joey Matthews and BGT star Amrick Channa.
