More rainbow planters in prospect for the village

We are delighted to announce the Launch of Manchester Gay Village Rainbow Planters last Saturday outside The Rem Bar and then later in Sackville Gardens.

Manchester, 9th Nov. Friends of Manchester Gay Village (FOMGV) launched the first two rainbow planters on Canal Street on 13th November 2021 at 2pm.

Joined by Cllr Jon-Connor Lyons, Chair Jeremy Hoad officially opened proceedings, together with Stalwarts John Cotterill and Chair of Friends of Sackville Gardens Chris Perriam, who all, together with others moved onto Sackville Gardens and the newly installed information lectern.

After a successful implementation of two rainbow planters on Canal Street and in anticipation of the arrival of further planters to other areas of the Village, Friends of Manchester Gay Village officially launched these planters and the new plaque for each planter, with several more to follow.

Please follow them on Facebook for further information.
