Hugo Macqueenie launches NHS Rainbow Bag Campaign

Internet sensation Hugo Macqueenie 31, has set up The Rainbow Bag Campaign, by delivering bags of joy to all NHS frontline workers and care home nursing staff, during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Hugo has decided to spread a little rainbow love, to front line workers battling to save lives during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Macqueenie explains “ I wanted to show appreciation to the NHS Frontline workers, and care home carers, as without them so many more lives would be lost, they are having a really tough time at the moment and I would love to bring a smile back on their faces, they so deserve this”.

Macqueenie, has set up from his instagram platform, a NHS Goodie Bag Campaign, he is calling for donations of items that can be placed in goodie bags and which will then be sent to NHS staff on the front line and staff working in care homes, across Greater Manchester.

So far his campaign which launched on Friday last week, has seen the backing of so many size businesses, from small startups to larger corporations. He has already had donations from Klen Hand Sanitizers who have donated hand sanitizers in different fragrances and bag company Polly bags have kindly donated 1000 clear bags. The campaign is running for 3 weeks, 11th May is drop off to all the hospitals and care homes across Greater Manchester.

Macqueenie explains “ So far I feel quite overwhelmed by the generosity of the people of Great Britain, I have been inundated with phone calls, of people wishing to offer to help and support the campaign, I feel really blessed right now”.

Macqueenie hopes that  the people of Greater Manchester will get behind him and back The Rainbow Bag Campaign, the bags of joy, will consist of a clear bag, with several little treats, such as beauty, hair accessories and health products.

Celebrity Reality Star, Gemma Collins, has even sent a message of support to Hugo Macqueenie, “ I felt really touched, it was so lovely of her”

Macqueenie is seeking further support from companies and businesses of Greater Manchester, members of the public and even some celebrities, to back this amazing campaign and support these inspirational people.
