Hebden Bridge Townhouse
Hebden Townhouse (formally Moyles), is an LGBTQ+ friendly B&B, at the heart of Hebden Bridge. It offers twelve superb ensuite bedrooms in a prominent Victorian era building. Located opposite the attractive canal basin, it is one of the first buildings visitors see when entering the town.
Mark and his partner Ben run the Townhouse. They moved from Manchester with their son to Hebden Bridge 14 months ago, a week before the first lockdown! They had lived in the city for 18 years, but were ready for a more country way of life. They had heard about the great community feel in Hebden, how inclusive and diverse the small town is, as well as being a great place to bring up children.
Ben, originally from Yorkshire, is a photographer and part time lecturer at Manchester Met, and Mark studied International Hospitality at university in Manchester.
The pandemic affected Marks former work in the events industry, and he decided to leave his job of 15 years. He had always wanted to run a hotel and when the opportunity arose to run Hebden Townhouse, it was too good an opportunity to miss out on.
It really is the perfect place to unwind and explore, and once you have visited, you will definitely want to return.
