Emerging Northern singer and lyricist Tyron Webster’s latest single reveals a tale of love, longing, letting go and the freedom of the nightclub dancefloor.

Wearing his heart on his sleeve, Dancing with a Broken Heart shows off Tyron’s vocal and writing skills at their finest and, as always, it’s his own personal story that was the inspiration behind his new release. “We all like to drown our sorrows and hit the dancefloor when we don’t get that text back or feel like the person we like isn’t interested back”, Tyron explains, “Dancing… is about a time I caught the guy I was seeing kissing someone else in the club and I just pretended nothing happened and got on with my night, getting lost in the music and trying to move on.”

Starting intimately, the verses build into a grooving chorus of hooks and euphoria with a melody that will stick in the back of your head longer than any snub from a potential love interest will. Tyron continues, “I wanted the production to give the feeling of sadness, but for it to still be a track you can dance to and my producer [Chris Durkin] captures that perfectly.”

With a captivating chorus, it’s no surprise that Tyron’s live audiences quickly pick up the lyrics are singing them right back at him becoming swept up in the all too relatable emotions of heartbreak and freedom. “I wanted something that people can sing at the top of their lungs and take back the feeling of control, like yeah, I might be broken-hearted but I’m here having a good time.”

Dancing with a Broken Heart is Tyron’s second release and is truly a taste and testament to what we can expect from him in the very near future.
