Divina raises money for The Proud Trust and new mural

Wednesday evening saw a quickly arranged event hosted by RPDRUK Drag icon DIVINA DE CAMPO at G-A-Y Manchester.

Together with co-host MISTY CHANCE, Divina met her fans via a 'meet and greet', followed by live performance and anti homophobe speeches.

As some of you may have seen Divina De Campo's graffiti along side the queer icons tribute in Manchester's gay village was defaced reading '666 dirty barstars'  in an illiterate outrage.

Community quickly came together and the damage was repaired to both pieces within 48 hours.

The money raised will be shared between THE PROUD TRUST and a commission for a new mural to be created in the Gay Village.

As Divina says

"what better way to get back at the homophobes than having even more queer art pop up"?
