Matthew Walker is the local Organiser for North West Region LGBT+ www.civilservice.lgbt

He tells us;

"We're the Civil Service LGBT+ Network.

We're helping to create a more diverse, inclusive and equal place to work for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Trans Civil Servants.

Our mission is to support and challenge the Civil Service to become the most inclusive employer for LGBT+ people in the country.

We do that by supporting the development of strong local LGBT+ networks building a national community of LGBT+ civil servants representing the needs of LGBT+ staff to central Civil Service policy teams and the Senior Civil Service

In the North West we have a social every second Tuesday of the month in Manchester which will be held at The Goose on Bloom Street for events in 2019 with the view to hold events across the North West region please contact northwest@civilservice.lgbt for more information or to sign up to the mailing list (work email please where possible)."
