A Very Queer Christmas 2021: Bring in the Light

A Very Queer Christmas 2021: Bring in the Light

Featuring special guests and soloists and hosted by Steve Hilton

Now a staple in the queer Christmas calendar, this special concert explores the meaning of home and family during the festive period through a queer lens and perspective. We’ll explore a time of year that can be as joyous as it is difficult as we take you on a queer festive journey, through music, singing and spoken word.

Featuring music by Kate Bush and Joni Mitchell as well as a world premiere by Ellie Showering and some more traditional festive songs too, this special concert will also include Readings from the writings of U. A. Fanthorpe, Rev. Richard Coles and Jackie Kay.

The Sunday Boys are an LGBTQ+ low voiced choir based in the heart of Manchester. Formed in 2016 by Artistic Director Michael Betteridge, the choir has performed at prestigious gigs in the city and beyond.
