A Grand Auction of my Life at HOME Manchester

A Grand Auction of my Life at HOME Manchester, Manchester, 27 November 2020 - Book now

Transforming the theatre space into an auction room, David Hoyle’s A Grand Auction of My Life will be streamed live from Theatre 1, with tickets on a pay-what-you-decide-basis.

As a response to the national lockdown, our friends at HOME have been working their socks off to ensure that their exciting ‘reopening’ season of theatre still goes ahead. And although audiences will not be able to attend HOME in person, all of the performances will still be performed on the stage and delivered to audiences via a live stream.

A world premiere performance, A Grand Auction of my Life, by David Hoyle seeks to examine the past by turning the theatre space into a live auction room for the sale of art, memories and memorabilia. Take the opportunity to bid on some of Hoyle’s most prized artifacts, including a painting, a song, a jacket potato, some fog and a family member.
