The Cava Queen

The Cava Queen

I have just finished reading ' The Cava Queen' by Amanda Meheux. The book is based on a female failing tv presenter (alex)hitting 40 and having a mid life crisis.
Alex finds herself having a long weekend in sitges and ends up staying.

The book is cleverly written and Amanda has definitely been to sitges herself as it is very accurate about the place. It is funny, witty, raunchy and sad at the same time however the main word is CAMP !!!
I read the book in 2 days as I could not put it down, a must have holiday book for 2012

Reviewed for Canal St by Mike Pollard.

Amanda will be at Taurus from 4pm on Sunday 13th May to sign copies.
