This one hour long comedy performance is an amusing and thought provoking look at women, sex and science. It is honest and direct, lively and fast paced, using spoken word, images, film and music to good advantage, great comic timing too. Challenging accepted patriarchal norms and looking at the history of how women, emotions, sex and desire has been viewed.
Certainly very funny, and we left with the desire to talk more about young women and how they navigate such a complex world with pornography and highly sexualised images readily accessible. Raising awareness through humour does help to side step the discomfort of discussing publicly issues which can be a real challenge for some. Was glad to see it wasn't all all female audience too.
There was an accompanying event following the performance on Sunday, a women's sexual pleasure workshop, facilitated through the Proud Trust and Lancaster University.
Do go see this interesting and funny performance at Buxton or Edinburgh Fringe, well worth a look and a chuckle or three.
