Dirty Dancing 2021

Dirty Dancing 2021

Over 30 years after the movie hit our cinema screens, the passion for all things dirty dancing hasn’t stopped. The perfect chick flick starring Jennifer Gray as Frances ‘Baby’ Houseman and Patrick Swayze as a dance teacher and heartthrob Johnny Castle has been one of the most successful movies of all time. Now back in the UK with an outstanding theatre tour, performing to nightly packed audiences.

This most impressive portrayal of baby and Johnny on stage. Played by Michael O’Reilly @michael_oreilly_ and Kira Malou @kira_malou_. Michael brings the swagger of Swayze. Kira creates an innocence and humour while learning to dance with Johnny at Kellerman’s.

Fans of the film will be delighted to know the stage show doesn’t stray far from the film and uses the all-time favourite line ‘. Nobody puts baby in the corner.’

Expect the biggest whoops and cheers of the night to come when O’Reilly’s smoking muscular body creates the sensual, hot, under-collar moments from the film.

The beauty of this musical is recreating the last scene of the movie on stage, a truly feel-magnificent affair, when Baby does that lift.

Tickets are available from AGT Tickets, you won’t regret booking a pair and enjoying an excellent piece of theatre.
