We interview Steph Little from Vanilla

New GM at Vanilla Steph Little took time out to give us an insight to the new girl in charge.

Q How long have you been involved with Vanilla?

A Involved is a good word, probably since I moved to Manchester in 2006, I always liked going but I started there as bar staff in 2007.

Q What do you think you can bring to this award winning bar?

A For a bar that already has a lot going for it, I just want to polish up the sides. The team and I are working very hard to update the image and restore Vanilla to its former glory by coming up with fresh new ideas that are going to give us an edge.

Q Any changes the girls should know about?

A Lots of changes have been made already, for example, we have taken a serious look at the music that is being played in the Village and are dedicating a lot of time in making sure we take customer suggestions into consideration and play what people want to hear and what's current rather than the same old chart stuff.

We will also be looking at trying to give people things to look forward to and do during the week with new events, nights and actuvities that will engage different audiences, we will try and have something for everyone! There are more changes to come so watch this space.. You can find out 'Whats happing' at Vanilla by looking out for posts from out Fb page or visiting our website www.vanillagirls.co.uk

Q Are you in a relationship yourself?

A Haha not currently, but I am happy as I am for the time being!

Q Which other venues do you enjoy in the Village?

A I spend a lot of time in Tribeca when not in Vanilla, I like the different vibe it has and the music is good which is something I look for when i'm out.

Q What is your view on #trwlmanchester and @pridehouseMCR?

A I think initiative is a great idea and something to join us all together. I am glad that Vanilla will be involved in hosting one of the To Russia with love events on the 15th Feb...
