VMFC at Museum

VMFC at Museum

Village Manchester FC are delighted to have been selected as part of the new National Football Museum in Manchester.
The museum, which opened in July 2012, features memoribilia from the past 150 years of British football and aims to represent all levels of participation in the sport.

VMFC were approached in late 2011 to be a part of the museum's collection - a recognition of the success the club has taken in combatting homophobia by participating in local Sunday leagues.

We're extremely proud to be a part of football history and hope that the interest generated in the club through this collection will only help in our efforts to break down barriers in the sport.

You can find a selection of VMFC memoribilia, which includes a shirt, promotional card and a photograph of the club outside the Cologne FC stadium in Germany, on the third floor of the National Football Museum, which is located in the Urbis building next to Victoria train station. Admission is free of charge.

For photos of our collection please visit the VMFC Facebook page on the link below.

Village Manchester FC return to training for the 2012/13 season on Thursday August 2nd at Albert Park in Lower Broughton, Salford. We're very interested to hear from new players looking to join us and you can contact the club at enquiries@vmfc.co.uk
