Village Bake Off 2014
The Annual Village Bakers’ ‘Great Village Bake Off’ returns to Manchester Pride’s Fringe Festival on Sunday 17th August, where contestants will be working hard to drizzle that lemon and firm those buns in order to win the LGBT baking competition of the year, whilst raising money for the Manchester Pride Community Fund. All abilities and ages are encouraged to participate, no matter how skilled.
As an LGBT Business, Sports or Social Group we ask for your help to make this event as fabulous as possible, and raise as much money as possible for Manchester Prides Community Fund. Simply sharing this event via your social media chanels and group newsletters, will allow your followers to support to the event.
This year’s bake off panel will be led by the wonderful and talented Howard Middleton finelist from the 2013 series of BBC’s ‘Great British Bake Off’, who is excited to be part of this year’s contest. More fantastic judges will be confirmed nearer to the competition date.
There will be a variety of incredible baking-inspired prizes to be won across two simple categories; Sweet and Savoury. In the true Village Bakers tradition of sharing, all entries will be available to sample once judging has taken place.
