The Vatican has threatened 'legal action' against Gonzalo Orquín for his photos showing straight actors sharing a gay kiss on church altars.

The Catholic Church has threatened 'legal action' against a gay-themed photo exhibit.

Religious officials expressed outrage at the photos of gay photographer Gonzalo Orquín, who staged different shots in various churches throughout Rome.

'I didn't do it to provoke the Church,' Orquin told Gay Star News, revealing the majority of the people photographed were not even gay and lesbian couples, they were heterosexual actors and volunteers who signed up for the project.

'I did it to demonstrate a union between God and two people'.

Thanks to our friends at Gay Star News for the above..
