Trustees required for Pride

Trustees required for Pride

We are seeking new Trustees to join our dedicated Board.

Trustees provide an essential and legal requirement for all charitable organisations. Trustees are recruited to take overall responsibility of the organisation, ensuring that the charity delivers its charitable aims and works within both recommended and legal guidelines.

You should have a good understanding of what the role of a Trustee entails its important to the governance of the organisation.

A successful board needs to be made up of people who bring different skills and experiences. We welcome applications from

- people who have a strong background in business, the public sector or charities

- people with professional skills - money, law, marketing, PR, risk, event management etc

- people with strong links to Greater Manchester's LGBT community - village businesses, community and voluntary groups

Ideally you will come from a professional or business background in the voluntary, public or private sector and have organisational and management experience.

A background in fundraising, working with women’s groups or young people would be particularly useful to complement the current skills base of the board.

If you are interested in applying, please download our application pack.

You can complete the application form, using Adobe Acrobat Reader, just click on the boxes to complete and return back to us via email, or if you'd prefer, you can post a copy back to us.

The deadline for applications is 17:00 on Friday 03 January 2014.

If you have any questions, please contact our Company Secretary, Darren Adams on 0161 713 3282 or via the website
