Transgender memorial carving

Transgender memorial carving

Throughout the creation of the worlds first permanent transgender memorial garden and monument we have met so many kind and beautiful people and I hope that as many as possible can pop into the gardens soon to watch the chainsaw carver in action.

When you see the size of this project you will understand why we are running low on funds and we will need people to do a little fundraising if you can every little helps.

What we have started is just the beginning and hopefully we can really start making the park a true community space.

We need to pressure the council to increase litter patrols and we need to do our bit too.

We need to report any the incidents of anti social behaviour to the police, so that they will patrol these gardens like they do others across the city.

We also need to create and attend community activities in the Gardens.

So what is next ... raised community herb gardens ..... a wild life area...... community Christmas Tree and some much bigger projects which I will tell you about as we get nearer.
