Shameless Northern Wave

Shameless Northern Wave

Shameless LGBT Celebration 15th February 2011.

Celebrating LGBT History Month in Manchester, the Northern Wave Swimming Club will hold a Shameless Water Polo game at Moss Side Pool on Tuesday 15th February 2011, no penalty rules will apply during the match and players will be game at 9pm.

Reds play Blues to win The Shameless Trophy that will be presented at Taurus Bar after the game by Proud City to celebrate Northern Wave getting the outstanding achievement 'Swim21' accreditation from their sport sector leading body - The ASA (Amateur Swimming Association).  The Northern Wave 'Swim21' portfolio will go up before the ASA awards panel a few days before The Shameless Game, following 1000 hours of compilation by volunteers covering the 28 sections on ASA quality control.

Here in Manchester the LGBT History Month will be getting to celebrate this outstanding achievement in LGBT sports, with Northern Wave believed to be the first LGBT swimming (northern) club to achieve the ASA award which puts NWSC into the same quality camp as the Manchester Sharks Water Polo Team and Out to Swim (London and Brighton).  LGBT History is made again by Manchester's LGBT Big Society of Volunteers.
