Salford ladies Raise cash for GHT and Body Positive

The return of the Salford Ladies United emperance Society to Pride this year was marked by a spot in the Big Parade and a fundaraising raffle.

During the parade the Anti-gay group where booed by village regulars for promoting thier anti-fun agenda, including placards stating "Drop Scones Not Pills".

However, Sunday saw the SLUTs return to Taurus in the village. With an extremely well received gesture, they organised a fundraising raffle in aid of George House Trust and Body Postiive.

Pride visitors where treated to such prizes as dolls, dusters and hair rollers certainly a must for all! Also, they helped the crowd to promote thier promise of "Clap for the Gays". By the end of the event the SLUTs had raised over £1200! Thank you to all those who attended and helped to raise funds!
