Refract 17 starts soon

Mr. Wilson's Second Liners will take you back to an era missed by almost every Mancunian who raved!  New Orleans meets 90s club classics…a rave funeral without the body. ??

In New Orleans, funerals are celebrated in style, with noisy brass bands parading the streets, these revolutionary genre bashers opt  for upbeat dance tracks over traditional slow hymns. Proudly stepping out in uniformed style, they channel the spirit of the 24 hour party people and get audiences dancing wherever they play.

The vision is an anarchic extravaganza, bursting with colour and sound, rallying impromptu raves and rousing audiences young and old into a joyful frenzy.

Felix Hagan & The Family are a seven-piece explosion of new-glam, high camp pop, punk and classic rock. They smash genres together into a theatrical blaze of high-energy glittery madness, backed up by unparalleled stagecraft and an unshakeable desire to entertain.

Felix tells us.

"We’re so excited to be part of this hugely diverse programme. The vast scope of talent and imagination at work within Refract is an inspiration, and to bring our brand of glittered-up madness to the people in such surroundings is a real pleasure. Our music is all about building connections between people, smashing out of the darkness and embracing all that is fabulous, vibrant, inclusive and exciting. And having had some of best nights of our lives through our past work with Pride, we can’t wait to dance the whole damn night away with our beautiful LGBT brothers, sisters and all those in between. See you there".

The band have played up and down the UK to universal acclaim and recently supported Frank Turner on his mammoth tour.
